Join EUTA: Policy Officer

The European Tech Alliance (EUTA), representing the voice of Europe’s foremost tech companies, is looking for a Policy Officer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of EU digital policy, engaging with leading stakeholders, and contributing to Europe’s tech competitiveness.

What You Will Do

  • Policy Strategy & Development: Develop and drive EUTA’s positions on key EU digital policy issues.
  • Advocacy & Outreach: Represent EUTA in meetings with EU institutions, policymakers, and stakeholders to communicate our policy objectives effectively.
  • Policy Materials: Lead the creation of high-quality policy papers, position statements, and advocacy tools for member companies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with EUTA members, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to advance EUTA’s agenda.
  • Event Leadership: Organise and participate in key events, roundtables, and forums to elevate EUTA’s voice and influence in EU digital policy.
  • Communication: Translate complex policy issues into clear, concise, and impactful messages for internal and external audiences.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–4 years of relevant experience in EU affairs, public policy, or digital policy within institutions, trade associations, consultancies, or companies.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of EU institutions, legislative processes, and digital policy challenges affecting the tech sector.
  • Education: University degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, European Law, Public Affairs, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (other EU languages are a plus).
    • Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret policy developments and draft impactful materials.
    • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.
  • Mindset: A proactive and dynamic team player with a deep interest in digital policy and European tech.
