EUTA contributes to the European Commission’s Consultation on the AI Act and Trustworthy General-Purpose AI

The European Tech Alliance (EUTA) has contributed to the European Commission’s consultation on the AI Act and the development of Trustworthy General-Purpose AI (GPAI) models. As the voice of leading European digital champions and scale ups, EUTA advocates for a regulatory framework that promotes AI innovation, ensures safety, and respects fundamental rights.

EUTA’s submission highlights the need for clear, harmonised rules across the Single Market that foster innovation without over-regulating. We stress the importance of balanced obligations across the AI value chain and fostering European leadership in AI development.
