The disruptive European Search Technology Made-in-Italy

FacilityLive is the Italian high tech scaleup, headquartered in Pavia and with offices in Brussels and London, which develops a next generation software platform for the management, organisation and search of information.

FaciltyLive was founded in 2010 by Mariuccia Teroni and Gianpiero Lotito: Italian innovative entrepreneurs with an extensive career on pioneering projects for the technology world applied to content.

FacilityLive is founding partner of Startup Europe Mediterranean (SEMED) in collaboration with the Startup Europe initiative of the European Commission: the digital platform that connects innovation ecosystems of the Mediterranean and create opportunities for the entire ecosystem: startups, investors, corporates, SMEs, innovators, incubators, accelerators, research centres, universities, policymakers and communities.

FacilityLive is the first non-UK company ever to have been admitted to the London Stock Exchange’s ELITE Programme based in London, it is board and business member of the European Internet Forum (EIF) and, in 2017, it designed for the Italian Presidency the official Web App and Search experience for the public website of G7 Italy.

In 2018 FacilityLive’s CEO, Gianpiero Lotito, was the first Italian non-politician invited to speak at the UN General Assembly in New York in the past twenty years with a speech entitled “Technology and Peace” and in 2016 he was the Innovative Entrepreneur chosen to represent Italy at the European Council for Competitiveness held in Amsterdam.

On 19th December 2018 Gianpiero Lotito was appointed as the new President of the European Tech Alliance and on 12th December 2019 he was reconfirmed for the second consecutive year of mandate.
